Nestled in the temperate "banana belt" of the Tobacco Valley, sits the friendly town of Eureka. In a State known for hospitality and beauty, Eureka stands out as the place to visit.

The views of the Majestic Canadian Rockies to the north and the Ksanka Mountain Range to the near east are visible from the downtown Historical Village, which encompasses the pristine Tobacco River. Many a child has caught his first fish along the shores of this ever flowing waterway which spills into Lake Koocanusa. Recently the town of Eureka finished the "Eureka Riverwalk" project which has added the ability for more people to enjoy the beautiful Tobacco River.

West of downtown Eureka sits the mighty Lake Koocanusa, a 90 mile long body of water brimming with Kokanee Salmon. Libby Dam, another point of interest, contains Lake Koocanusa approximately 60 miles west on Montana Hwy 37. The northern part of Lake Koocanusa begins in beautiful British Colombia, Canada just a short drive from Eureka, (make sure and bring your birth certificate.)

Below you will find many different images of the town of Eureka as well as the surrounding area. Pictures will change often during the seasons so check back periodically.
