The Rendezvous Kick-Off Dinner had a totally new look and feel this year, it was held in the LCHS Gymnasium, and promised “More For Less”.

The annual dinner event featured an exciting new dining option with the “Taste of Rendezvous”. Local restaurants such as Yong’s Teriyaki Take-Out, Café Jax, Papa’s Pizza, Stageline Pizza, Espinoza’s, The Cutting Board, Trappers Saloon, and the Sr. Citizen’s Center had locations set up in the cul-de-sac outside the Lincoln County High School (LCHS) Commons.  This allowed patrons a large selection of dining choices from baby back ribs to a slice of pizza and everything in between.  The dining area was set up indoors.

The opening act this year featured popular local talent (and former LCHS Music Teacher) Michael Atherton and Joel Knadler playing acoustical sets, and the return of the much loved Bop-A-Dips.  For anyone not familiar, the Bop-A-Dips bring a high energy show to the stage that recreates the original sound and look of the classic rock and roll era. Their music included sounds from the fabulous 50’s, a flashback from the 60’s, and music made famous by the Beach Boys.  The gym was decked out in a fun sock-hop theme to embrace the new location and the entertainment.
